Dudes and Daisies

Vintage Bags
I am a fabric snob. There! I admit it! For the fall, rich cut velvets and brocades make me melt!
In the spring, the brighter, the better! Dudes and Daisies began as a way for me to indulge in my
passion to create and design while staying home with my kiddos,
Sam (Dudes) and Claire (Daisies).

Dudes and Daisies bags are handcrafted from European vintage fabrics, table runners and
doilies, vintage Italian wedding blankets, furs and bark cloths, and together, make a beautiful
piece of art of unexpected materials for women who insist on “coloring outside of the lines.”
Most bags and backpacks are one-of-a kind and limited editions and draw the discriminating and
a bit rebellious gal who wouldn’t dare dangle what her girlfriends carry.

Women That Rock Bonnie Blue

My story begins with a little girl who loved art and grew
to make my living in art. It would seem that art was my
destiny; being born with the name Bonnie Green and
later to marry and become Bonnie Blue. Art emanates
from my being and I so desire to share God’s heart
through art. These Rocks represent all women
everywhere who are deeply, individually and
unconditionally loved by God. When I see a Rock I see
faces, your faces, and I am compelled to paint...
Treasure Hunters Gallery
Marlene Dame

Treasure Hunters Gallery was born out of a love of antiques.  Having rented space in other antique
shops in Galveston and working the craft show circuit I have met many talented artist, all with
something special to bring to a shop environment.  Many of theses gals were looking for a permanent
home to sell their special treasures.  On February 14, 2006 the first store front version of Treasure
Hunters Gallery opened in Richmond, Tx.  Once the lobby of The National Hotel this charming
building has made the perfect home for this eclectic shop.  It has become the permanent home for many
of our traveling artist friends.  We strive to carry unique, high-quality merchandise.  Today I still rent
two small spaces in Galveston, one in the Historic District on Post Office St. known as Antiques on
Post Office and the other one the first floor of The Peanut Butter Warehouse.  I am  raising two baseball
players, one guitar player, a husband and two dogs.  Life is never dull.
Hippie at Heart  Marlene Dame

I was born in The Summer of Love and have a love for nostalgia from a more peaceful
time.  I have art work to showcase the company name which is now featured in  t-shirts and
tye-dye ball caps.  I began collecting merchandise showcasing some of my favorite
personalities, Betty Boop, Pink Panther, Snoopy, Elvis, Lucy and others.  And, of course, I
drove into the wonderful music of the time.  I carry Bob Masse’s wonderful concert poster art
in both framed and signed posters and in t-shirts. There are albums that are wonderful for
framing and comic books that are affordable and are meant to be read and enjoyed.  There's
even a candy counter that features some of my favorite retro candies.  I hope you will stop by
and enjoy a look back in time as you enter what I refer to as the
hippie hut”.

Naturally Unique Monica Durand

In the late 1980’s I found that designing and crafting
jewelry was my true passion. For the past
20 years
I have designed and crafted jewelry that I've sold at art and craft shows throughout
the Texas-Louisiana
Gulf Coast Region. Currently my jewelry pieces are also being marketed
and sold at Treasure Hunter’s Gallery in Richmond, Texas and Grafton Seasons in Grafton,
Vermont. I have recently retired from my profession in Orthopedic Radiology. I'm enjoying the
extra time I have to create, design and treasure hunt on road trips!

Growing up in Austin, Texas gave me the opportunity to meet many liberal artists. One thing I
took from that experience was the desire to remain unique – “
Naturally Unique” . I've always
enjoyed creative gardening and art projects. I am a member of the Sugar  Land Garden Club
and teach various arts and craft workshops.  For the past 20 years I have been sharing my
jewelry and the works of other artist that share my excitement of creating unique art and
jewelry. Some of my “finds” I've brought back from my travels to share are Story Bracelets with
inspirational messages told through their beads, vintage bottle cap jewelry and Domino Art
featuring custom designs.  I like to share positive and meaningful art with the hope of bringing
happiness to the recipient. Wear my jewelry in  joy and happiness - the way it was created
and crafted.

Jan's Creative Concepts
I am a young, retired grandma, living in beautiful Sugar Land, who loves to decorate on a dime.
During my 35 years of advertising for large corporations, I have worked with some of the world’
s top designers, and spent several years working with color consultants for the Fuller O’Brien
Paint Company.  I also lived and traveled extensively throughout Europe.

Good design and color expertise are my specialty.

Taking my vast knowledge and love for home design, I have helped numerous clients achieve
beautiful, practical and low-cost home decorating solutions.  Whether a client wants to fix a
home for quick sale, find a color solution to update an old space or wants drapery and
accessories to fill a new home, I can help.  I can work with any design: rustic ranch,
southwestern, shabby chic, country French, Tuscany, contemporary or eclectic.

I work to incorporate your personality and your budget.

Under Jan’s Creative Concepts, I design custom floral arrangements using lots of natural
elements to add color and texture.  I design and make chic hand-made dog collars under the
name Texas Waggers.  All sold at Treasure Hunters Gallery and at Houston area craft shows.
